I did get a bit lost when some non-stock plugins were used but I mostly understood the concepts behind them and I appreciate seeing what the professionals are using as a aspirational place of where to go -- other tutorials stick to Ableton stock and that doesn't usually sound quite right so it's almost just as confusing. I haven't taken too many courses (in this subject or others), but when I have I was often underwhelmed and usually caution myself or others against purchasing them.
